Matthew 23:9 You have no obligation or requirement from God to call this types of Christians, father, or mother, spiritual father, spiritual mother or to take instruction from them. When you have hypocritical spiritual leadership Jesus would have looked to Him, and God the father, for spiritual guidance and teaching and not to those leaders.

So just as Jesus didn’t entrust himself to man, He knew what was in man’s heart. Jesus in this passage advising you to entrust yourself to God instead, who is your true teacher, and your true instructor, and true father.

We should submit to the authorities that God has established over us, But what is important to do increasingly more so in this time is to be looking at fruit in a person’s life.

A Narcissist is arrogant, proud, and conceited, and sees himself as superior. Jesus is telling his disciples to lower themselves and become servants. He talks about walking in humility because God exaltation on our lives comes in.

Jesus is talking about the disciples in the crowds and telling them, to have a servants heart towards one another. When it comes to a Narcissist, submitting to them, only feeds their sense of entitlement.

If they allow themselves to be. So Jesus expresses how a religious Narcissist is always striving to be up in a high place but their efforts are utterly useless because at the end of the day, God is going to humble them.

So if you are worried about the corruption you may be seeing or experiencing in some religious ministries or spaces or people.

All you need to do is practice the true Godly virtues of Jesus Christ, which is to become meek and humble and to have a heart to serve others and if you cultivate this heart disposition will set in motion all kinds of spiritual forces to raise you up and you will not have too strive for anything.
