Coworkers Daughter is Giving up on Life

Hello DAB Family,
my coworker Christina has a 20 year old daughter named Alyssa. She was air lifted to the hospital on Friday (7/8/16) because her kidney’s are failing. Her GI disease is called Stage 3 Kidney disease and Protein Losing Enteropathy. She has had this illness since she was born and has had very serious problems with it her entire life. Now that she is back in the hospital, Christina is telling me that her daughter is losing her will to live. Also, Christina was just told that because of a new infection that just occurred, they may have to put her daughter on dialysis. They both, including their family, could use all the prayers they can get to lift up their spirits and get her daughter to recovery. Please God send wisdom and guidance to the medical staff. Send peace and comfort and Your reassuring love to Alyssa and all her family. I pray all of this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

You Lord are wise and loving, full of mercy and grace, giving Alyssa purpose of life. Help her Lord to know the depth of your love and purpose for her and the parents to whom you gave her. Grant them the strength and joy to persevere; hope and peace that gives rest to their spirit. To God be all glory and honor. Amen
July 13, 2016 at 2:28 pmAll glory to our Heavenly Father!! Thank you ALL so much for your prayers!! Alyssa is getting better very slowly but steadily. She never had to go through dialysis because her body was able to fight the infection (miraculously). Her blood pressure is improving and so are her blood levels so a transfusion isn’t necessary any longer. They were able to remove her IV and she is now only getting a little help with her oxygen. Her kidney functions are improving little by little with every test. It is still unknown what is causing Alyssa to have this chronic medical condition. So they are trying to get her transferred to a mayo clinic in either Arizona or Minnesota. BUT all in all, things are looking up. THANK YOU all so very much for praying! God is listening and working in His way. Thank you!
