Hang in their bro, suicide is a lie. I battled these thoughts at the age of 16, until I was 19, when I recieved Christ. Thankfully I’m still here. What you’ve been thinking, feeling, or your current perception, isn’t absolutely true. It’s not God’s truth. The enemy seeks to distort reality. Our picture of life, or ourselves, can be a bit like being at the fair & looking into one of those, (fair ground) mirrors, which distort the image of ourselves. It’s a real image but it’s not the true image of our physical selves, it’s therefore a lie. It works the same way with our thoughts. Our thoughts effect the way we feel, the way we see ourselves, our lives & our circumstances. Change our thoughts & our perception, & our feelings will also change. We will shift from a negative outlook to a positive outlook. Hope is on the horizon.

There is hope for you JB & God’s hope has the power to lift you & me up – out of depression, out of the valley & onto the mountain top of God’s presence. In His presence is the sunshine of His mercy & most of all, the knowledge of His love for us. God loves you – God loves JB!

Romans 5:5. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. The acceptance of God’s love in our hearts is personal & we can receive His love for us as individuals. It’s not based on our performance, our circumstances, or other people, or the events in our lives. It based on God’s unconditional love, which is constant & never changes. This love, God’s love for us, will break the power of disappointment, grief & the lies of the enemy. God’s love will set the image of ourselves & our perception of life straight again. God’s love will put HOPE back in the centre of our lives. Hold on JB until your image of life aligns with God’s & you will have a testimony of how God’s truth, re-started your life. Like others who have posted here, I too went through a long season of feeling hopeless to the point of me wanting desperately to end it all by taking my own life. From jumping from a high building, to the wrist cuttings, pill overdoses and to drowning attempts, my life back then, was most miserable indeed❣ Like others have testified, to get right to the point, it is the devil whos job it is, is to steal, kill, and destroy. He’ll do this if he can, if we allow him too❣ Looking back, if I knew then what I know now, I’d never have submitted to those thoughts that pressured me to say good by to this world. If I knew then that the devil was a liar and a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn. 10:10) Id never have entertained those thoughts that constantly told me in my head that your “no good, and that no body loves you.” If I knew back then that our un-saved and un-regenerated minds were easy targets for the devil, I’d more than likely come to the LORD much sooner than I did❣ If I knew back then that If I was [In CHRIST] ➡ (2: Cor. 5:17) old things would pass away, and all things would become new. And if I knew then that if I was [In CHRIST], I would have delegated authority over every demon and the the devil himself (Lu. 10:19). And that it is absolute authority that has been given to every [Born again] believer [In CHRIST] as a gift❣ If I had known then what I know now, I wouldn’t have allowed the devil to run rough-shod over my thoughts❣ Thankful today, I do know who I am [In CHRIST], “and am still learning.” This knowledge makes it a heck of a lot harder for the enemy to perpetuate his lies on my mind❣ JB, this is where the battle field is, it’s in or minds. I would also encourage you to find out every thing the Bible 📕 has to say about what belongs to you as a believer in JESUS. Remember, knowledge is power! And I’d encourage you to investigate everything you can find about what your God given authority is. It’s by this understanding of who your are [In CHRIST that will help you to win the victory! over Satan and the battle field of your mind❣ If I could suggest that you pick up a copy of Minister Joyce Myers book entitled (The Battle Field Of The Mind), I’m certain the God will speak to you through it. Also, quality time spent in prayer and in Bible 📖 searches about who you are [in Him] would benefit you greatly❣ I’m praying for your deliverance from the lies of the enemy. and that you experience a fresh down-load from the Spirit 🕊 of God concerning your rights and privilege’s as a believer [In CHRIST]. Remember brother, that the devil is a liar, and JESUS IS LORD! And that because you belong to [Him], and your bought with a precious price, no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isa. 54:17)…
