Been reflecting on this verse If given enough ”rope” our minds can lead us to things that we seemingly cannot correct or escape on our own. Evil thoughts of a person can lead to murder, desperate needs can lead to robbery and the list goes on. Evil will never relent on its grasp to control us, all of us. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨In the book of Ephesians Chapter 4, verse 22-24, it tell us this, “THAT, IN REFERENCE TO YOUR FORMER MANNER OF LIFE, YOU LAY ASIDE THE OLD SELF, WHICH IS BEING CORRUPTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LUSTS OF DECEIT, AND THAT YOU BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND, AND PUT ON THE NEW SELF, WHICH IS THE LIKENESS OF GOD HAS BEEN CREATED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS OF THE TRUTH.” ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ GOD’s truth is nothing natural to us. It is a spiritual encounter that takes us from the natural man to the spiritual man created only by GOD. We are told in 5:1 BE IMITATORS OF GOD. This is GOD’s grace given to us whereby we can leave our old selves and put on the new self, created by Him, for Him and for us in His righteousness and truth. 🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨So today, think about where you are in life, think about what you can be with exchanging the old thoughts and habits with the renewal of GOD’s grace in your life. Pray for this today. Colossians 3:2 tells us to SET YOUR MIND ON THE THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THE THINGS THAT ARE ON EARTH. Just think about it. He reigns and He is good🙏
