Young Man Breaking Mom's Heart

    A friend’s 17-year-old entered a short-term intervention program last month after falling into the law’s hands. He is smart but has a self-destructive attitude. His mom just received word he had been caught stealing from a store. She is open to God’s intervention and allowed me to post this need. Please pray for God to move into JJ’s life in a strong way. The entire family needs his touch and guidance. God knows the details. Please pray for God to move into this family’s life, into JJ’s, to help him turn his life toward the Lord. Amen.

    Praying for JJ and family. It sounds like a similar situation to my cousin and another lad at my church. I’ll remember JJ and family as I remember William & Kieran & Joseph & families.

    Lord we commit JJ & William & Kieran & Joseph & other youth in a similar situation. Please be at work in their lives. Thank you for the gifts you have given these lads. Remove any self destructive attitudes. Please give them opportunities and please give them the wisdom & courage to take them. Please be protecting them from bad influences. Please be introducing them to good role models and people who will lead them your way. May they become great young men of God who serve you and the church. We commit their families to you Lord. We pray for wisdom & patience & love & courage for their parents/guardians. Show them the best way to deal with these lads. Please be at work in these families, their mothers (and fathers & siblings) really need to know you. Please open their eyes to see you at work. Please open their heart’s an minds to accept you. Thank you for the work you are doing and are going to do in these young lives and in these families. In Jesus’ name Amen

    Praying for him to find God in his heart to guide him in a new path. Prayers for his mom and family. To see your child making poor choices and self destructing is one of the worst feeling you can have as a parent.
