I am a Disabled Navy Veteran and my family and I are HOMELESS.
We’ve been homeless for about a month and a half living in our car with three dogs. One being my Service dog which is a 150 lbs Bull mastiff and a black lab and a small little dog. We got screwed over BIG TIME by our landlord. Long story short he wouldn’t repair the place we were living in and the city of Gatlinburg CONDEMNED our place and gave us 24hrs to be out. We’ve done Everything that we know to do and then some and we’re getting Nowhere fast. It’s getting up in the mid 90s here in Gatlinburg Tennessee and we DESPERATELY NEED prayers for a place to live. My wife works at Wonder Works in Pigeon Forge and I’m a disabled Navy Veteran. We got ahold of a service that will pay for all of the Upfront costs to get into a place BUT we CAN’T find a place that will except pets OR that we can afford. We’re ready to give up. We keep praying and all we’re getting is people trying to SCAM us. Please pray for us that we will find a home soon. I have a very bad back and neck, and my wife has bad knees, so living in my small car is giving us physical and mental pain. And the POLICE has woke us up three times and told us that it is Illegal to be homeless and sleep in the car. So we ask them where are we supposed to go sir we’re homeless. Two of them told us to go to Walmart, BUT Walmart has big signs saying it’s Illegal to sleep there too. So we don’t know what to do. We are SOOOO LOST. And we need your prayers desperately.
