May 15, 2016 at 5:00 pmLast night I lost my grandpa. He was 89 years old. He was MY example of Manhood. He loved God. He loved his family. He loved ME! He worked hard. He served in the church. He served his country in the military. He was a strong yet very gentle man. He was a quiet leader. I never saw him respond in anger. My is big, loud, and loving…however, they do NOT deal with death well. WE have a lot of big outspoken personalities. We have several lukewarm christians…having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.
Please pray for the unity of my family. Please pray for peace. I pray that my grandfather’s legacy be one of love. Please pray for salvation and freedom of ALL of my family members. I renounce all generational curse and lies. The enemy has no authority in my family. Let those in my family who know God rise up with the authority of the Holy Spirit, and proclaim the day of the Lord.
I don’t live in the same state as my family (I am in Missouri…they are in California). Please pray for favor with the airlines as I look for a last minute flight. Pray for affordable and convenient flights.
Lastly, Please pray that my heart and mind be guarded by God’s love. May the spirit of the Lord guide my heart, mind, words, and actions. I surrender all to you LORD. Order my steps. Give me what to say and how to be.
Thank you,

May 15, 2016 at 10:05 pmMay God bless you and keep you. I pray the lukewarm Christians in your family become strong in this difficult time. I agree with you, the enemy has no authority in your family, and must flee from you as you travel.
I know exactly that feeling “He loved ME!” I had that too in my grandparents. As much as they loved us, God loves us even more! Praise! Even in our sorrows-God can lift us up ?jtylerk9Prayers: 1512Requests: 7

May 17, 2016 at 2:51 amYour heartfelt prayers for your grandfather remind me of my prayers for my Grandmommy. She was so strong in the Lord, as it sounds your grandfather was. All we can do to honor them is to follow our Lord, Jesus. Be compassionate and kind, life-giving and honest; speak Truth and Life.
