Healing of pain & for total reconciliation in my relationship

    Hello family,

    I’ve been a listener since 2013, listening in steadily since, however this year has been really hard to due to events/circumstances that’s happened of late. Wow I’m tearing up out of nowhere while typing this; I wanted to call up on he prayer request line but haven’t summoned up the courage to do so.
    Came across this wall by total chance.
    This year I lost my father suddenly, the end of January, which was shocking and devastating to deal with.
    Still, trying to be strong I was determined to have faith and trust in the Lord that it is well with me and this year I will see progress in all areas of my life.
    However, a month ago the guy I was hoping to one day marry decided to end our relationship other an avoidable misunderstanding. The past month has been awful between us, I’ve tried to be an advocate for taking and sorting things out, but he just seems to be wrapped up in his own hurt, I don’t understand where all this is coming from, but it’s really hurting and affecting me, he just seems to want to be destructive and not deal with it. We are both believers, attend the same church, so I’m disappointed that we are not both able to walk in love and resolve.
    I believe we opened ourselves up to the enemy to tamper with our relationship but not honouring God and falling into temptation by sleeping together…the confusion and arguments started just days after the act, which we both said we’re sorry for.

    Please help me pray for the Lord’s mercy, healing of hearts and for peace to reign between us. For the Lord to minister to his heart, for the spirit of selfishness, stubbornness and strife to be removed and be the man of God He called him to be.
    I have been feeling so down of late, 30 year lady who’s feeling like nothing seems to be going right, I desire to married and to start my own family. I’m usually quite strong n try to be there for others but everyday of recent I’m breaking down in tears, please pray the Lord comforts and strengthens me, increase my faith and heal my heart in Jesus name.

    Patience thank you for sharing. I know how hard it is to make that first call. I’ve been listening since 2010 and it took me years to find the courage to call in (now I have to stop myself from doing it too often!)

    I will be praying for you and your fiancé.

    Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    May the God of hope fill you with all joy in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

    Patience it is so easy to give in to temptation. For us to fail in our own strength. Remember that Jesus died for ALL of our sins, not just some of them.

    Jesus we pray for this situation, for your children. Bring your peace and calm to their hearts that they will know You are their God. And bring hope and joy for their future what ever that may hold. For you are God and Lord of all, and You are our saviour and redeemer, and You love us, your precious children. Amen.

    God I pray Patience finds peace and rests in your grace today, Father if the devil is at work in the relationship, if he is causing pain by telling lies that cause them to be unable to forgive and find love and good, if he is causing hate by the effect of pain, I ask you break the attack, I ask you allow them to find reset, I ask that the evil leave so that they can find love in each other, the love you give them father. Lord I ask that you seal their hearts that they belong to you and not the devil or to the world and that they will not be subject to the attacks any more. I ask that when the hot topics flair up in both of them, that they instead instantly be reminded of your grace and forgiveness and allow themselves to see their broken human natures and choose to love and take care of that for each other and show each other love once again. Lord I pray the man begins to love Patience like Christ loves the church, and I pray Patience respects and submits to the man as she does to you father. Lord I pray you bless them both and be with them both as they recover the relationship, Lord I pray you heal the flaming arrows they fired at each other in anger. God I pray that they seek you first, and then give to each other. I pray all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

    In Jesus name Amen!! Thank you all so much. Reading your prayers for me overwhelmed my heart, especially Peter as it was so specific and timely, brought tears to my eyes.
    Situation hasn’t been restored/resolved, I’m trying to be patient and trust in the Lord I know He knows best even though I’m feeling broken and hurting.
    God bless you all for your prayers and encouragement, it’s appreciated greatly, may He meet you all at your time and place of need in Jesus name. ❤️
