Hi family,
Could you all please pray for Will Rea he’s the son of a Christian schools worker and grandson of a couple in my church.Will was enjoying a night out with some friends on Saturday in Falmouth, when they were attacked by a local gang. Unfortunately whilst some of his friends escaped with minor injuries Will’s were far more serious. He sustained 5 fractures to his cheek bone and eye socket and was badly beaten up. He was taken to hospital and only released when his mum arrived on Sunday. He will be going back to hospital in Truro on Wednesday for surgery.
As you can imagine this has caused and awful amount of upset and upheaval for the family.Please remember the family in your prayers and especially lift Will up on Wednesday, that the procedure may go well and that his recovery will be swift & complete. Also please pray that the perpetrators will be found and brought to justice.

May 25, 2016 at 7:22 amUpdate: Will was left with severe facial injuries. These have now been confirmed as 4 broken cheek bones, a broken nose and a broken eye socket. These are worse than originally thought and he requires a titanium plate to be put in his eye socket. It doesn’t look like his sight will be damaged but it’s early days. Tomorrow he will have the eye operation and any other patching up needed. They were reluctant to do this as have no beds in which he can recover but because his Mum is a nurse and can stay down there the rest of the week they have agreed to operate. Please pray that the operation goes ahead and is a success and also that the family can manage to work round the various arrangements which have to be made in order for him to be cared for. This is clearly very distressing for those so far away up here in Gloucester.
