I’m not even really sure where to start. I am a teacher and to help supplement I do real estate too. My wife of 22 years stays home and home schools my children, ages 15, 5, and 3. I also have a 20 year old daughter as well. My income is fine but it’s not enough to cover by debts. I made a lot of bad decisions that were based on fear and got my family and I in a terrible financial situation. I’m fighting to keep our home, not file for bankruptcy, and just providing the basics for my family. I’m behind on everything and bills being taken to collections. My phone rings all day long with creditors calling me demanding payment. To make matters worse, I think I’ve made some mistakes in a real estate transaction that could mean trouble. It could even mean the end of real estate for me which would be a total devastation to my finances.
I am overwhelmed with grief and fear. I don’t sleep well at night and when I do I often have bad dreams. The only thing that brings me some comfort at night is listening to DAB and watching Trinity Broadcasting Network in the middle of the night. Through it God has been speaking to me regarding turning my fear into faith, it’s just that as soon as I gain a little confidence and hope, something else hits me.
Please pray for us, especially that this real estate transaction gets worked out. I feel like the enemy has me totally surrounded. I don’t know what to do. I need hope!!! I feel like I’m destroying my beautiful family. Please pray for us.
