Sticking with it

    I have tried many times to read through the bible and have failed. I realized that I need community so I am joining this one for the rest of the year! Please pray that I stick with it!

    Getting married in August to a wonderful man of God, first boyfriend I ever had at age 30! I was raped at age 19. Been receiving a lot of counselling and prayer and Forest, my fiancée has been wonderful in listening and supporting me. Please pray that I fully become the free woman that God created me to be! Thanks DAB family!

    Good morning. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. I intended to read the whole bible before and, like you I am seeking community here to reinforce my commitment. This verse spoke to me. Maybe it will resonate with you also: ” Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, the person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. ”
