August 8, 2024 at 4:27 pmI fight to stay focused when I come on the prayer wall; while I take time to intercede for fellow dabbers; I struggle I’m not sure if I can blindfold myself so I don’t see headlines that distract me? But I know I wrestle with keeping my eyes 👀 off inappropriate headlines and their content. Here is what the spirit says to me as I strive to be alert and not be distracted. Look away God’s Chosen OneGA! I ask God to help me as I struggle. 🙌✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨💐We rest, we sleep and we slow down, and, or many times, we stop ✋ 🛑 what we are doing as our bodies need rest and renewal. The same is true for our minds and spirits. When we physically get exhausted, we loose our dexterity and agility. When we are mentally tired we lose our acuity. Help us Lord. 🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Just as a sufficient portion of our day is spent in sleep so should a portion of our day be spent in preparing with and tuning in with God. Romans 12:2 says this to us, “AND DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, BUT BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, THAT YOU MAY PROVE WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS, THAT WHICH IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT.” To do our best we must be prepared. 🙌🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Our days are best spent if we are proactive with studying God’s word rather than reactive when we find ourselves distracted, or we find ourselves in need of help and guidance. Starting our day with scripture and prayer; and listening to His Spirit as we go, will help us start the day right and be at peace. ☮️ 🕊️ ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Staying focused on what we feel God is calling us to do each day and reflecting and meditating throughout the day in prayer also helps us to stay the course. Trust in Him, rely on Him and know that He wants His best for us, each day, and every day. Blessings to the overflowing as we strive to be proactive in reading His word. Amen 🙏

August 8, 2024 at 5:40 pmAmen! GCOGA. Thank you so much for posting this. I couldn’t agree more. I especially agree with what the Holy Spirit 🕊️said for you to do when being inundated with so much news these days. When I read what He said to do when confronted with this is simple yet challenging on the other hand. That is you were to “look away!” Easier said than done. The statement resinated with me for the fact that I’ve had the Spirit 🕊️ tell me the same exact thing concerning this subject, and other things. Doesn’t it just sound like something He’d say? Anyway, I agree with the importance of being pro-active in Bible studying. As usual, you have a gift of having the pulse of the Spirit🕊️ It’s a joy to be co-labors with Him and each other… Many Blessings! In Him💞

August 8, 2024 at 8:33 pmOh, my two wonderful friends and family in Christ, how you have blessed me with your posts. I try to keep my eyes fixed on Him, and not on any distracting thoughts or feelings. I agree, it is easier said than done. But isn’t anything that is worthwhile? My peace, love, joy and strength all come from our Lord and Savior. And I will try with every fiber of my being to not let anyone or anything take it away. I know with confidence that Abba will not allow it to happen because He will never leave me or forsake me! God bless you and your families to the uttermost! 🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️✨✨✨ ♥️♥️♥️
