Proverbs 17:3 ESV “The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the LORD tests hearts.” Father, help us to pass Your tests… take away the wood, hay and stubble that we may not be found deficient. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 ESV “Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.” Father, let us be mindful in these times of testings in Jesus’ name.

THE PULL: 📖2 Corinthians 5:17-19 ESV “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.” 📓 Father, our sins and sin loving nature are like a scab that has never healed. It’s Your grace that has come through for us… You were the One Who gives us true gold and silver. Your word says that our righteousness is like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). We were so marred and rotten from within by this sin nature that at the right time God sent His Son to die for us as an atonement (Romans 5) and was resurrected and now sitting at the right-hand of the Father (Colosians 3:1). It is Your grace that causes us to stand before God. Let us revel and be grateful for the great treasure of Christ in us for He has redeemed us from the curse of the law. God bailed us out from a debt that we could never repay. 📖Matthew 18:21-35 📓 Let us extend that same forgiveness to others and make God’s name famous. Your grace is truly enough. And through Your Son He even baptizes us with spiritual gifts and offers His Holy Spirit (Basis: John the Baptist testimony Matthew 3:11). May we all ask and allow Him to make us His best dwelling place and carry out His will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
