“Barbara transferred to her heavenly body this morning with no pain no fear and just peace. Arrangements forthcoming. Thank you for all the prayers.” 🙌🙏🙌🤲✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ That was the text I received from Jerry this morning. I just want to thank each and all those who have been praying along for the past 6 weeks since Barbara was admitted into the hospital. She fought hard and God gave her peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊️ which no one can explain. I spent most of the day with her yesterday worshipping and just sitting by her side and loving on her with words of affirmation assuring her of how much she is valued, appreciated and loved deeply. She opened her eyes 👀 once and nodded but said nothing. God’s Presence was all over the room and we thank God for granting her desire to transition to her heavenly home from the comfort of her room. 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐 Thank you all so much for your love and prayers. The next couple of days will be challenging as arrangements to give her a befitting home going ceremony. Please continue to pray for Jerry and all the family. Appreciate you all my dear brothers and sisters. and may God bless you. 🙏

Praying for our Bible Class “The Encouragers” as we have lost another pillar of faith. Grant us the grace to embrace the tasks you set before us and to continue to live our lives without fear. Barbara modeled a good Christian walk and living and for that we are grateful. Be glorified in each of our lives. Amen 🙏

Help this person commit their plans to You, trusting that You will establish their ways and transform a spirit of loss into one of thoughtful planning and hope. Amen.

Knowing that she’s resting in the arms of her Savior JESUS, Oh! what joy unspeakable and full of glory ✨ she must be experiencing right now. 🎵 “When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing! that will be. 🎵 When we all see JESUS we’ll sing and shout the victory!

But I am so thankful that she was blessed with peace and no pain during her journey. Also thankful that she is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior in heaven today and will be throughout eternity. August 3, 2024 at 12:19 pmFinal arrangement to lay her to rest is this Wednesday August 7; from 11am to 1pm. Service will be held at our church sanctuary and interment afterwards. Our class will be deliberating on what to do tomorrow. Please pray for guided wisdom for us and that we will not sorrow as people who have no hope but as people who know where she is and will meet her in eternity. There is hope for us in Christ Jesus. Please continue to pray for the family for strength and peace through the next few days. Blessings and thanks

P. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜Paul said, in Phil. 3:14, “I PRESS ON TO REACH THE END OF THE RACE AND RECEIVE THE HEAVENLY PRIZE FOR WHICH GOD, THROUGH CHRIST JESUS, IS CALLING US.” What is the end of the race? It is the finish line of this earthly life. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜My beloved Sister Barbara As a believer, the prize awarded to us is eternity with the Lord. Each day brings us closer to the end of our earthly life. As you walked through life; you demonstrated and showed evidence that you were heaven bound? You did!! Many people boast of how long they have served the Lord, been in the church or been a believer. The length of time is not important. It is how we lived our days that is vitally important. You lived and lived a selfless life in service to God your creator! You walked closer to Him. You challenged each one of us to know more about Him. You showed us in the simplest of ways how live a life of service and love. Hebrews 13:14 says “FOR WE DO NOT HAVE AN ENDURING CITY HERE; INSTEAD, WE SEEK THE ONE TO COME. (CSB trans.)”. Thank you for leaving us with a legacy that we also hope to pass on to the next generation. You taught us to strive to lay up treasures in heaven for ourselves, for things here will soon pass away. Remember Proverb 3:5-6, “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND DO NOT LEAN ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT.” YES!!!Continue to rest peacefully as you walk the streets of gold with Our Savior. We do miss you terribly in our Bible Class. What a privilege Sister Flora was given, to be able to sit with a loved one as they transition from their time on earth: into Your loving arms. Thank you that Barbara knew The Lord, and she would be in His presence when Jesus called her name. Thank you for the special bond of friendship you placed between these women. Thank you for the blood of Jesus that washes our sins white as snow. Thank you that Flora knows she will see her again and does not grieve as those who do not yet know You, in Jesus Name.
