Our Marriage and Family Is Crumbling, Please HELP!

    DAB Family, I am desperately crying out for your help. My family is falling apart. My husband and I have grown apart under the pressure of raising 5 beautiful children under the age of 6, managing 2 full-time jobs, owning and running our own restaurant, trying to manage a mountain of financial problems, and struggling with postpartum depression. On top of it all, my husband has been experiencing emotional swings with anger, irritation, and depression. He is incredibly short, distracted, and distant with me. Many of my staff members have admitted they feel like they want to quit due to the sudden tense environment change every time he is around. I am trying to keep it together and encourage everyone, including my husband and children, but I am about to crack. I need the Lord to save us. Please, lift us up in prayer. I am desperately calling out to God and relying on Him to strengthen me while I wait for His timing.

    Amanda, my heart goes out to you and I am praying for you. I am struggling with a similar situation. GOD IS ABLE TO PROVIDE!
    I find comfort in Psalm 34:20 Many are the affiliations of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. LET GO AND LET GOD!

    Amanda, I believe the Lord will uphold you and strengthen you in your inner man. I believe the Lord is trying to get your attention to spend time with him, in prayer and the word of God. Take at least 30 mins to listen to the DAB even when you are working. I pray for your husband that the Holy Spirit will keep his heart and mind calm and help him turn to God in pray for strength.
    Father we pray that you will give Amand wisdom to manage her time, show her which of her staff she can trust to help her in areas that needs attention while she spends time in your presence.
    Help my sister Lord to overcome this time and bring her husband to you presence and strengthen him also to trust you to help them manage their time, family & business in Jesus name. Amen.

    Dearest Amanda,so much of what is going on for you I can relate to,trying to juggle so many balls in the air at one time can be overwhelming ,trying to carry so much responsibility and stay in faith,feeling guilty when you miss it,beloved, in your own strength you can’t do it,so stop trying!.cast all your case onto Him that can and don’t take them back,speak to the storm ,be still and KNOW that He is God.Make a decision that you are not going to carry this anymore.Jesus bore everything on the cross for us,He gave us His peace for our troubled hearts,His joy for our heaviness,we have to chose to take it.Like the woman in Isaial 52 I encourage you to awake ,put on your richest clothes, shake off the dust,decide you are going to praise Him no matter what,there is power in praise and freedom in dance!.when you no longer care what others think,it’s just you and your Father believe me you will break the oppression.

    Amanda, Satan is fiercely trying to break up your family unit. God wll definitely see you thru this. Remember: no trial is ever long lasting, they do not last forever, though when we are going thru them, they feel that way.

    Give each day to God and ask God to soften your husband’s heart. To help him find favor in you. My husband also is has a strong challenging personality, but God is helping him as well, little by little, in baby steps. It aint simple, life aint simple, but with God holding our hand every step of the way, we can see it thru. Hang it there. We will all pray for you — please keep us posted

    Amanda, I am the mom of 11 children and our marriage almost ended as we crumbled under the weight of moving to another country as missionaries. 2 adopted children wreaked havoc, new language was difficult and a demonic girl slithered in and almost stole my husband. I have been where you are and I can tell you, God rescued us from the brink of destruction right as we were beginning to careen over the cliff. He got us just in the nick.
