Father: Give Holly wisdom and encourage her in her marriage. Let her cast her cares on You. Help her boldly pray for her husband and declare the victory he has in You. Increase her faith and let her draw close to You as she looks to You to know how to be the best wife and helper to her husband. Give Owen ears to hear You and a heart that is open and obedient to Your ways. Lead him and teach him how to be the husband You call him to be. Yours is the glory Lord! The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy all things- especially Christian marriages. Surround Holly and Owen with the strong Christian community they need. Protect their marriage and may it be built on You as its firm foundation. Holly, be encouraged- there is power in the Name of Jesus. As I pray for you and your marriage, I lift up my own. Jesus! Holy and loving Father who loves us so much, we are take this moment to pray for Owen and Holly’s marriage, You have blessed the marriage at the beginning of this world. The enemy is busy breaking the homes of your children all over the world, but he is a defeated coward. You have given us a weapon to fight him, in the name of your son, Jesus, we ask you to bless this newlywed couple with peace, joy and happiness in their home. May you be the centre of their lives. Holly I must add that I have been married for 11 years to my soul mate. It is the best thing that ever happened to me. Yes all of us go through hardship at the beginning, but at the end we learn to live with each other as long as we put God in the centre of our lives.
