Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I come to you as a single mother who desperately needs prayers for my son Aidan. For the past 11 months my son has been struggling with marijuana addiction, nicotine addiction and severe depression. I have tried everything that is humanly possible to get help for my son but alas nothing has helped. My son needs God. He needs to return to God and seek his love for the pain that was caused when his dad left us when my son turned 13. My son is now 15 and has still not forgiven his father. I told my son that God has great plans for us, including his younger brother who still lives with his dad and his dad’s girlfriend 50/50. I need prayer too, to stay strong with God’s strength. I cannot do this alone but need the strength of mighty prayer warriors. I feel like I am battling the devil for my son’s salvation and I feel like this journey is the hardest journey I have ever been through. I am a survivor. I made it through a difficult time in my life where I was told I would never walk again but thanks to God’s love and mercy I am a walking miracle. I do believe God has great plans for my son Aidan but there are days when I am tired, so tired living with my son and his very destructive lifestyle that includes the use of drugs. Please pray that my son restores his relationship with Jesus Christ and that he turns to God to heal his broken heart and he turns to God to heal his pain he is feeling from the divorce and our broken family.
