please pray for my husband to seek regular Christian counselling and steady accountability for his porn use. I’m thankful for his pain because it stops him in his tracks, makes him weak & he’s in bed much of the day, makes him then think more clearly. when he feels better, he does chores and tasks (hasn’t worked in a few years because of the pain issue), but arrogance & pride pull him astray. pray I’ll encourage him, not fight with him, pray I’ll not enable, pray I’ll take care of my own needs too. thank you

I’m praying his addiction to porn will cease and he can more firmly break the chains of sin that hold him back. That Jesus will be LORD over this family and that all idols and false gods would be taken out and cut off from destroying them and that the precious covenant thry both have before the LORD, stands. Father God, You are holy and pure. Wash away the influences that are not of You. Let the power of Your word come upon this family, strongly. Let the man of the house be manly, responsible, caring and a true husband — loving his wife dearly and treasuring her as Christ loves the church. Let the wife be more womanly and encouraging her spouse, respecting him and believing the best in him as he grows in faith and humility. Let there be a bond of peace with forgiveness along with God-given counsel and accountability from Christ-centered leadership or relationships of a local church. Father, You word says that a 3-fold cord is not easily broken. We thank You for the truth of Your word, the prayers of Your people, the conviction of sin and the grace that You have available to change us from sinners into Your spotless bride. LORD, hear our prayers and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven through the power and blood of Your precious Son, Christ Jesus. Amen.
