Please pray for my daughter (K) she is finally hearing the word of God in her heart and now getting out of a 4 year relationship and 1 year plus marriage with a woman. It has been a tough time for us all but now she sees the light even though she was raised in the church. Her wife is a military person and she moved my daughter to the Pacific Northwest of the US less than a year ago and now the violence that I did not know about has come to light. I saw my daughter in November and I knew something was wrong but I could not push her to disclose what was happening. I heard telephone conversations (military deployment of her spouse) but was not part of them. Soon after my return from my visit of the Pacific Northwest, my daughter informed me that she was filing for divorce but did not give me the reason why. About a month ago, my daughter finally told me everything and every day I am learning more. Now, that the military person is back from deployment she is trying to get the restraining order dismissed and claim there is no violence even though there is some evidence. My daughter feels alone and hopeless and yet trying to maintain her health because she has been progressing to heart failure and will need another open heart surgery this year. (I am here with here supporting her in every manner even though I am over 3,000 miles away) My daughter has a court date regarding upholding or dismissing the restraining order on February 11; she was served with new legal documentation last night that could unwittingly sway the judge if my daughter is unable to find an affordable attorney that can disclose her evidence properly. Please pray for my daughter and our family, there are other issues but this is the one that we need a lot of prayers for especially as my daughter looks for a new place to live and working in a new job.
