Prayers for a friend who lost his daughter

    Please pray for my friend David who tragically lost his daughter who was shot in the head with a stray bullet in Chicago over the weekend. David was on the phone with Aaren when it happened. I can’t begin to know the pain and suffering that he is going through right now , but do know that with the power of prayer, God listens. May God send this family an overwhelming sense of peace. Please keep David in your prayers

    Father in heaven, please give this family comfort in their time of need. May his daughters soul rest in your loving arms. In the name of Jesus. Amen

    Lord God Almighty, thank You that You are the God of all comfort. Thank You for Your word that says to mourn with those who mourn, and that You collect every tear that we cry. I lift up David and his family as they walk through this valley with such a heavy burden. I praise You that You love him and You are lovingly and tenderly holding him as he grieves the loss of his beautiful daughter. May he know Your presence and trust that You will lead him through this. May You keep him hidden under the shadow of Your wing and may he be strengthened in Your word.
