I love God’s living and active word and how it permeates our lives.

Listening to todays scriptures I was led to pray specifically for a man named JC. Please pray with me.

His is one much like Joseph’s…just chalk full of hardship and discouragement…one that the world would say “Go ahead and scream at God…shake your fist at him, tell him you deserve more”. JC doesn’t do that, he hurts but strives to remain full of faith.

JC is at a point in life where he just needs to be saturated in the Holy Spirit, protected in the Heavenly Realms and loved thoroughly and deeply in his daily life.

Besides growing up in an emotionally abusive home, having a major work accident that has left him unable to do the work he loves, being in his SECOND battle with cancer (meds leave him depressed and suicidal), and now being involved in a major tragedy that took the life of a young man. He needs our prayers.

There are evil people that are trying to come against him – Jesus we pray for your protection and for you power to overwhelm this situation that the evil will not prevail.

Grief stricken – Jesus cover JC in your love and in your truth. Help him to work through his grief and his guilt and shame. He needs you to penetrate the lies that Satan is bombarding him with.

Healing – Jesus, you are our Creator and our Healer. Heal JC of his cancer. Help him to be strong through the medications now being used to fight the cancer in his body – protect him for suicidal thoughts that come from these medications. Continue to heal his body for the accident at work, take away his pain, and provide for his medical needs in the legal issues that surround this accident.
