August 19, 2024 at 7:30 amJB here. I had possibly the final conversation with my wife. I shared my experience and my heartbreak and asked once again “why now? After all our growth over the last 3 years.” She expressed a heart desire to stay together, but is denying that urge because she believes she heard God call us apart and never to leave the door open for reconciliation. I have not heard this same call from God, nor I have I heard of such a call from God after a covenant of marriage has been made. I pray for clarity if I am missing something. I pray for clarity for my wife if this is not in fact a call from God. DAB family pray for me, I don’t know what to do in this situation other than pray and remain grounded in scripture and fellowship.

August 19, 2024 at 8:27 amStand your ground. My wife divorced me after 33 years of marriage when things were improving. I can not say what you should do but I made two big mistakes in the divorce process. First I moved out before the divorce and I went along with it. if I had to do it again I would have never moved out and would have refused to cooperate with the process. This may not be what you should do but I think I would still be married possibly if I did these. Praying for you. Also I allowed her to get more from me than she should have. I regret not standing my ground on this also. I got tricked by her lawyer into these and I was too broken hearted to say no. Do not reward her for wanting to break your covenant marriage. Just want to say there was no Biblical reason for our divorce by either of us. I have pursued her for over 7 years and she refuses so in my opinion it is on her.

August 19, 2024 at 9:57 amDear JB: Stay in connection to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Your cries for help do not go unheard. From HIS Holy Temple He hears your voice, your pleas reach His ears. He is NOT a distant observer. Talk with him, ask what is your next assignment? He will guide you and give you clarity! Still praying with you. You are asking us to pray, and we give you feed back. You do not answer nor grateful. Ponder deeply about what i am saying.
