July 27, 2024 at 3:11 pmI recently have been diagnosed with breast cancer and this Monday I have a pet scan to see if it has metastasis because I have been having back pain. I haven’t started chemo yet and I pray that my insurance will cover the chemo. I have regular Medicare with AARP and secondary along with Medicare part D drug plan. My treatment will depend on if my insurance covers it. Facing death and the unknown has been one of my hardest journeys in life. I also take care of my husband who has brain tumors but he is at the moment taking care of me. Believe me I am in lots of prayer, Bible study, surrender my will to God but my anxiety is causing my blood pressure to go up. Lori

July 27, 2024 at 10:51 pmContinued prayers for you Lori. You are never alone. His love endures forever and His mercies never cease as we covenant in Him. Father, we humbly ask that Lori would switch over to You as her source. When God is for you, who can be against you? Asking the Father to give you His supernatural peace and provision. Holy Spirit, please fill Lori as she invites You to be with her. Cause that pesky fear to be cast away as she clothes herself in Your power and is enabled to put on the full armor of God. Let Your words not only bring comfort but that love of God, His perfect love that casts out all fear. LORD we acknowledge that the biggest “C” in the room is “Christ,” not “cancer.” To that infirmity we remind it that it was nailed to the cross. And we ask the LORD to say to this enemy, “No can, sir.” In other words, “Adios.” Or, “Goodbye, little ‘c’ the ‘Big C’ lives here now and I fear Him, instead. Christ is in control of me. Not the fear of death. Jesus soundly defeated that, already, and He is carrying me to His victory through faith. I know that I am victorious because of Him and as Romans 8:28 states, “Nothing can separate me from the love of God.” Take courage, Lori, He is here for you in this hour. Amen.

July 28, 2024 at 8:30 amSending heartfelt prayers to you. I’m in the midst of the cancer journey too and Satan uses every opportunity to make us fearful of what the future holds. But, Jesus is with us and we need to cling to Him and believe that he will see us through. May his pea e rest on you and may there be no metastases.
