A practical way of dealing with these hurtful words is to find scriptures to replace them when they come into your mind. It is a process you will have to repeat over and over again until they stop tormenting you. Spend time meditating on scripture. Fill your mind with scripture
The word of God is life and healing…Proverbs 4:20-22 Don’t give up. You are more than a conqueror through Christ… Romans 8:31-39

August 21, 2016 at 3:08 pmPraying for you. Christ lives in you. When I feel hurt or sad it helps me to sing to God, to praise him because it takes my eyes off of my problems, and to focus instead on Him who is solving those problems alongside me. He has conquered all sin, hurt, and doubt and you can trust that he loves you. I just want to encourage you.
You are a precious and strong child of God. When you feel hurt I encourage you to just turn to Him and tell him how you feel. Cry out to Him.
And when bad things happen it always helps to focus on Him and remember why I can be joyful. As a Christian we have three reasons to be constantly joyful: 1) all good things can’t be taken away from us 2) all bad things will be turned to good 3) the best is yet to come. This is why He died for us, to have us again. You are more than a conqueror.
Lifting you up and keep us posted how we can pray for you.
